Hiya! It’s been a little while and that’s becuase I am back to work after 9 months maternity leave and it is …. knackering.
Rewarding but knackering. We are firmly settled in our routine now and although I feel like my head is spinning at times. I am so glad I made the decision to go back.
I have managed to snag myself a really good part time job working in my area so childcare is a lot easier than I first thought it would be.
I go to work three days a week and Erin goes to nursery for two mornings a week and the rest of the time I am very fortunate to have help from Erin’s grandparents. They are defo earning some huge Christmas presents.
Although it seems to have worked out nicely, the key for me is being organised. Meal planning being a big one, to do lists and times I have to do them by. This may sound a bit excessive, but that is the only way I manage to fit everything in.
One of my lovely friends decided to start selling her own stationery, go and check her instagram here, she is totally planning goals! So I stocked up on a few bits for my back to work planning and the lovely Gemma chucked in a few extra bits for me.
The daily planner is a god send for the day to day stuff and it makes meal planning more fun if it’s written on cute paper…. right?
I bet you’ll love it as much as I do. Any other mums got advice on the whole balancing work, mum, family time stuff?
