There’s a lot of big changes going on in my life at the moment, as well as having our first child, James and I are going through the process of buying our first house. Which is terrifying and exciting all at the same time. Other things are in the pipeline for me as well, which is really exciting but for right now stressing about buying a house is enough to take up all of my head space.
So when I got a day to have a catch up with an old work colleague (who is also a very talented photographer) and walk around one of Kents most beautiful parks I got thinking about appreciation and how much I take for granted sometimes.
As we walked around the park it was wet and still raining a bit but I realised how great it is to have all of this greenery on my doorstep, how lucky I am to have good friends, a beautiful daughter, a loving boyfriend, amoung many other things.
I also appreciate myself a lot more this year than I have before. Giving birth made me appreciate my body and how much it can do. How little sleep I can function on… Appreciate how much my body and mind set has changed and that’s okay.
Now I’m not a fashion blogger AT ALL but when LOTD got in touch with me to ask if I would like to talk about their clothes it gave me a perfect opportunity to get out, get some pictures and catch up with a friend.
