Sunday Funday…

Afternoon you lovely lot!

Okay so it’s not such a fun day today I have been asleep for most of it and now writing a post watching the Jungle Book. That’s fun in it’s own sort of way as well.

But, I have had the best weekend, it was James’ mum birthday so we have been out and about for lunch and what not then we went to see Guys and Dolls last night in London’s, Phoenix Theatre. I have got such a love affair going on with old theatres and this one, although quite small, was beautiful.

Excuse the dark pictures, I didn’t get a chance to snap many while the lights were on.

Also this weekend, I picked up a few little essentials. Not really “essential” but that’s what I tell myself to make myself feel better about spending money. IMG_1902

Ghost, Eau De Toilette – £19.99, I come back to this scent time and time again. I usually wear it during the Summer, with base notes of vanilla and musk and top notes of rose and ambrette seeds (yeah, I dunno what those are either) this perfume is great for me for this time of year and every time I wear it it makes me think of delicious long evenings in the sun, at a pub, drinking Pimms. Yum…

Soap and Glory, Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk – £8.00 First impressions are that this is a big ol’ bottle of cleanser for £8.00! I have been dying to try it out as I have heard really good things about it. It claims to melt away make up, detox your skin leaving it feeling silky smooth. The only thing I have read which I’m not too keen on is that it can sting your eyes when you’re removing eye make up with it which I’m a bit dubious about so I will have to let you know how I get on.

Benefit Flawless Powder Foundation – £25.50 Okay, so this is the only purchase I have been 50/50 on for a while. I am usually so careful with my pennies I stick to what I know but I got suckered into the Benefit counter at Boots and walked away with this powder foundation. I don’t wear powder foundation but had a play around with this on the counter and thought I will be able to use it with my BB cream as a light setting powder with a bit more coverage. We shall see how it goes I’m a bit pessimistic but I usually am when it comes to change, it may surprise me. I will let you know.

You get up to anything this weekend? Or make any purchases you want to hare? I always love reading your comments.
