Another lazy Sunday over here at NWW, we haven’t done an awful lot apart from get up, dressed and made sausage sandwiches. Feels quite productive as I am sitting here typing actually…
Anyway onto the post, I have been recently using the Soap and Glory – Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk and I have to say it is one of the best cleansers I have ever used. I know, it’s a bold claim.
The first thing and best thing I want to say about it, is how divine it smells. It has subtle notes of peaches and it just smells really, well…clean. Soap and Glory say it’s a 4 in 1 product and I must admit I have to agree. It claims to purify & clarify, dissolve make up, energize and smooth. After a couple of weeks use my skin is clearer, it looks brighter and it has even taken the gunk out of my black heads which has always proved really hard to shift.
For 8 fine English pounds, you can get this huge bottle!! God, I love high street beauty products.
As you can hopefully see from the picture with the cleanser on my hand, the product is really creamy. To remove everything on face I use four pumps of cleanser, two for the first go and two on the second cleanse. I wash it off with warm water then pat my face down with soft towel.
I will say this cleanser, unlike some others I have used does sting my eyes so I have been using my Garnier Micellar Water to take off my eye make up before I use this cleanser so I don’t have to rub my eyes with it, I think it is probably all the perfumes and acids in this product. This isn’t the worst thing I have seen in a cleanser, not by a long shot…
Also, I think that if you don’t have super oily skin like mine, that this could be a bit drying. I would advise using your moisturiser after. It definitely has made my skin clearer and look more plump. My skin can sometimes be quite grey, I put this down to the fact I work in a stuffy office and I smoke, which I know is the carnal sin for having nice skin.
My skin does feel re energized, that sounds cringe and like I’m marketing this product but its completely true. Plus, who doesn’t like smelling like peaches? …
I hope you liked this post, please leave me comments I love reading them! Let me know if you have been seriously impressed by a high street product recently.
